Dwayne grew up on a council estate, raised by a single mother, witnessing domestic violence and, later, his mother’s imprisonment. He endured foster care and children’s homes. By the age of 13 he had been groomed and exploited into violence, crime and addiction to Class A drugs.
Over the next 17 years he was in and out of prison and survived several near-death experiences. Yet against every odd stacked against him, Dwayne transformed his life.
